Woody expects it to be released around the end of August – early September. He states that the service pack will be in 4 flavors:1) Download from Windows Update website.2) Windows XP Service Pack 1 CD-ROM3) Windows XP HOME Slipstream version CD-ROM4) Windows XP PRO Slipstream version CD-ROMThe Slipstream versions of Windows XP will be Windows XP with the patch already applied.

There are a few pirated copies of Windows XP out there. According to Woody, “The downloadable SP-1 update will not install over the top of most pirated copies of Windows XP. Around these parts, there are lots and lots (and lots and lots) of bootleg copies of Windows XP with a key that starts FCKGW-RHQQ2...
