image at: Using the internet to unite those impeaching the Presidency. image
Anti-Terror
Anonymous writes "

Shorty before the forced statements that the war was being ended, a goverment and public mothion started to take place to impeach the current leading government. To assist, it was decided to use the internet as it is cheap and wide reaching.
If you would like to see those responcible for this war brought to justice, go to:

http://www.votetoimpeach.org/

Below are some of the most common reasons:

The currently ruling government against the wishes of the majority of its
nation, against the United Nations, launched an unwanted war, 12 years too
late, during a time of economic disaster, costing billions of dollars and
thousands of lives, only to reveal (publicly) that no super weapons (and
hence, no excuse) for the attack existed.

At the same time, the so called war of democracy oversea's was met with
censorship, violation of US freedoms, and arrests, here in America for
those who publicly voiced opinions not in agreement with the presidency.

If that isn't grounds for impeachment, what is?

The currently ruling government against the wishes of the majority of its nation

Wrong!

The majority of this nation (over 75 %) in favor of a war against a horrific dictatorship that once posed a threat to world peace, has now been removed with an incredibly low loss of innocent lives, and vows to
restore freedom to that region. If you don't think the Iraqi people are in favor of a free country, just ask one of them now.

Would feel safer with Saddam in power?

Diplomatic efforts for over 10 years failed over and over through the then governing Iraqi regime hiding and decieving UN inspectors from a variety of countries inspections. The UN inspectors were
forced to look like fools to the world. In the 1990's, then US President Bill Clinton launched strikes on both Afghanistan in 1993 and in 1998, both
times without UN approval, but the liberal media never talks about that, do they?

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the logic of your views. I think there are people who are anti George Bush more than they're anti-war.

Al Gore can't even spell, let alone run a country. You can only imagine him leading a war against terrorism. The freedom that we all share has only been achieved through the success of several wars ( i.e. freedom from british rule and the creation of the US Declaration of Independence.)

Oh yeah, you want to talk cost?

costing billions of dollars and thousands of lives

Try the cost of a nuke that Saddam was planning on sending to Israel killing millions of people and sparking WWIII. Try putting a price tag on
that.

Absurd example, you say? Fact: Saddam has used chemical and biological weapons on 3 countries in the past. It would have been only a matter of time before he developed and used nukes. This country would have seen economic times far worse than the Great Depression had that occured.

In all fairness, I do respect the rights of freedom of speech and feel that despite the Dixie Chicks (assuming that was your reference) poor
taste and timing, they have the right to say whatever they want. That's why the US military named this war Operation Iraqi Freedom! That's what we fought to protect. Freedom.

I don't recall any arrests regarding voicing opinion against the presidency as that would be illegal and a violation of the US constitution.

Sad you feel the way you do, especially as we both value our freedom.

Not defending the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. I would be interested in seeing any of those charges proved to the point where congress would bring a bill of impeachment, which they couldn't. I am personally glad that we are ruled by the Constitution and not the UN, which has no authority over Soverign Countries, unless they give it to them. BTW the UN has an institutionally allowance for censorship and offers no rights to individuals if they don not agree and support the UN. There is no international justice even if we did impeach the president as we are not a signatory to any convention at the crime of the time. This site is a waste of electrons and evidently run by people who have no concept of what impeachment is.
