Bonus DownLoad of the Week!:
Homeland Security Threat Monitor from Greg Hewgill

The Homeland Security Threat Monitor runs in your Windows system tray and displays the current color-coded terrorism threat level, as determined by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. It features five different display icons, blinking notification upon an increased threat level, and links to additional resources. The monitor periodically ensures that the security information is current by contacting the White House Web server.

Now this I do not, for the love of Mary, understand.
Great little application.......

If you folks think .....that the fundamentalists from abroad, no names mentioned, are NOT going to attack our nation again....................then you are either in denial or ............(I'll let you fill in the blanks).

As soon as you download this bonus, it will send your ip config and a list of illegal files on your computer back to the Office of Homeland Security and there you go -- you no longer are the owner of your own computer -- how anyone could download this and install it just because its a freebie is totally beyond me -- THINK PEOPLE!!!!

So how dumb and just how stupid are we????

Umm...couldn't ya just use your firewall to block it from getting serving privaliges? I mean yea itll still send out your ip to communicate (wich the government knows IF and when it wants anyway), but that should limit it to recieving information, correct? I am not THAT computer literate so please let me know if I am wrong.
