how to remove this dratted avaamon.dll...

Sorry if this doesn't belong in this forum, but I posted in here before (see what is currently on page 2 of threads), and it was through originally using Hijack this that I've gotten this far.

Anyway, according to Ad-aware, I've gotten rid of everything other than one infected object, currently called avaamon.dll in my windows/system32 folder. It replaced apmparse.dll, which replaced abmparse.dll, which replaced/caused who knows what else.

I'm pretty computer-unsavvy, and can't delete this one last infected object without rebooting, which ostensibly causes the creation of another infected object with causal primacy (and another infected cookie or two). I also don't know if these files might be generated by something that Ad-aware can't see.
