Posted: Wed Jun 02, 2004 9:10 pm Post subject: Hijack This - Problems with an annoying trojan |
|
|
Greetings -
I just recently went through a lot of work to get rid of the WONDERFUL Sasser worm! Boy, that wasn't a treat. It appears, fresh off that problem, I have another trojan that is popping my virus software LITERALLY every 1-2 minutes.
MS04-011 - That is the name of the problem.
I went to the Microsoft update site, and downloaded the update for my version of windows, but the problem isn't going away.
I already have Adaware 6 and Spybot installed - and just recently ran checks to rid myself of spyware (of which there were about 60). While this has helped with other things, it hasn't stopped that pesky MS04-011 from popping up non-stop. So, with nowhere else to turn, I have created a hijack this log (since I've heard you guys are THE best on the net at helping with problems) in the hopes that you can help me.
Here is my log - Thanks in advance for any and all help with this stupid MS04-011 problem.
