A brief flash tutorial on how to use the Learning column can be found here
http://home.xtra.co.nz/hosts/nickbolton/filters.html

If you do not have Flash installed then go to http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/dow...kwaveFlash
It only takes a minute or so,

If you find this useful please let me know and we will make a permanent fixture.

Cheers
rd

I'd suggest that legit messages get marked for training first. That way all remaining report boxes are Junk and when the Report checkmark is set, the Junk learning cross gets marked automatically (if not already classified as Junk). Note that any SPAM already reported to FA! (i.e. report box missing) will automatically have had the junk cross checked if the message was not classified as Junk

Good tutorial, but it runs just a little bit fast on my machine. Could it be slowed down a little bit, or given a "speed control" of some sort, so that a user has a chance to read all of the expanations while also watching the graphic image change?

Yep...thats why there is a "Pause" button beneath the screen.
You can Pause to read...and then click Play to resume.

actually ,no.
there is a tutorial on the home page here for another item, highjackthis, and it might be a good idea to have it listed there also listed under a new heading, possibly like security utilities tutorials.
