This is nothing less than KGB/Gestapo-like tactics.

But it's okay, people - stay asleep.

It's too late to wake up now anyway. Pete

I am thinking theydo not have anyone you know personally..but your inference to KGB and Gestapo sucks. First cause you have no idea what those organizations were really all about and second because you have the constant need to blow it out your nose with your radical comparison and think anyone is asleep.

Sorry Sovetskeey, but if you had been on the recieving end of either one of those organizations or their proxies in Third World nations you would feel about the same way. Anyone who compares those laws to the German Laws on Racial Purity of the 1930's and 40's, or the Totalitarian Legal system which supported the Soviet Empire has there head so far up, they are doing their own colon cancer screening.

I am not your buddy. BTW welcome to the forum ..I would whisper in your ear but I am again not logged in..but you can check out the Nick.

@spy1
Well to put it kindly, I do not mind democrats giving each other blow jobs in the white house..but when you start dressing up your posts with men in KGB and Gustapo uniforms..just to explain to me that your party does not know who the heck are still registered and will vote for a platform none of the candidates seem to be able to find these days...then we can start talking about free speech without watching them all put their foot in their mouths and yours. They do not even know what THEY stand for anymore much less how they got there in the first place. They are all looking for polls that their buddies take for them to even decide what to talk about. It is like a circus.

Now if you are really trying to tell me that you are now thinking about promoting a THIRD party based upon the views and posts you have exhibited in the past..then we can certainly have a productive dialogue..if that platform you present comes from the center and not some radical backbiting place that constantly slams into every media trick in the book and then you emblish it cause you think it is going to get some mileage.

On the other post:

O'Neill thought that too after they fired his butt for shooting off his mouth all the time..when his real job was to make things work and not go slam dunking the ball at the beginning of the political game.

He just has not yet figured out how true his words will be in the future when he told his bookie..

" That goal is worth the price of retribution, O'Neill says. Plus, as he told Suskind, "I'm an old guy, and I'm rich. And there's nothing they can do to hurt me."

I bet you would like Paul O'Neill to run for office and represent you ????

He is a freedom loving guy who only wants to tell the truth.

Consider this is the kind of ideas we are fighting:

Quote:

Wednesday's attack at the Erez border crossing between Israel and Gaza was the first time the Islamic militant group Hamas dispatched a female suicide bomber, and the group threatened more violence.

"She is not going to be the last (attacker) because the march of resistance will continue until the Islamic flag is raised, not only over the minarets of Jerusalem, but over the whole universe," Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar said.

What Hamas is to Israel, Al Queda is to the USA. They won't settle for a truce or negotiation, they want to see us dead and have our lands and wealth for themselves. The even don't want to be left alone, as many of our religious extremist want, they want to control us completely, not partially or mostly but down to what you do in the privacy of your own home, completely.

More like the Gestapo and KGB than we could ever imagine being, worse than the religious police of Saudi Arabia. You have no idea what they are like, they are fanatics dedicated to our destruction. There is no accomodation or negotiation with people so dedicated, we either must survive or we will loose to them.

The rest of the world wishes that was true Smile

Have Al-qaeda really stated they want "your" land and wealth? The al-qaeda boogy man is something to keep people afraid, the US can count itself lucky that it has not had to live under regular terrorist attacks, I wonder how hysterical things in the US would get then. The things really causing terror in the US on a day to day basis are created by the US regime itself.

I do agree however that Hamas sound like nutjobs, the mirror image of those on the israeli side who want to perpetuate violence.

It think the comparisons with other regimes secret police is quit accurate, you can be taken from your home in the middle of the night, held without charge or legal counsel for years and people wont know where you are being held - or even if you are being held at all.

Name one American that has happened to in the middle of the night? You can't.

There is a total of two American Citizens, one born here to Saudi Parents and Raised in Saudi Arabia and one former Prisoner convert to Islam from Puerto Rico. The first was taken in Afghanistan at an Al'Queda Camp and the Second was taken at an Airport after returning from a bugged meeting with known Al'Queda operatives overseas.

Try reading a book like Peter Mansfield, The Arabs, about the extreme sects of Wahhibism that make up Al'Queda before you tell me what they want and what their goals are. You are plain wrong about their goals.

Can't believe all these hypocritical statements on terrorism.
How come you have just started to take note of what is going on around the world.
I seem to remember the US funding many tinpot regimes helping them to overthrow the government (Middle East and Asia springs sharply to mind)

How about the massive funds openly collected and given to the IRA in pursuit of terrorism in the 90s.

As Spy1 wrote, There are non so Blind!
There is a well known saying here,"If you can't stand the heat don't cook fries" (or something of that nature)

Interesting since the Iraq's used weapons of Soviet style manufacture and calibers. Sure you weren't shot by your own men? Wink

It's just an endless conflict after "bloody" conflict.
Bomb all the strategic buildings.
Bomb the Nerve centres.
Bomb the Transport infrstructure.
Kill everyone in a Uniform.
How much did it cost?

Now let's see,
We need to rebuild all the buildings we bombed.
Set up new Nerve centres and train people to run them (our way).
Create a new Transport Infrastructure.
Re-build the roads.
Create a new Army and Police force.
RE-Equip them all with weapons again to defend themselves against their enemies.
How much is it going to cost?

Hold on, if we give them weapons cant they eventually be used against us?

Think about it for a few minutes instead of firing back.
These are the actions of Men, Irrational. Irresponsible War Mongering Hot-Heads from all Countries.
NOT MANY WOMEN INVOLVED ARE THERE! WHY?
BECAUSE THEY'VE GOT MORE SENSE, IT'S THEM THAT HAVE TO SUFFER THE MOST WHILE THE MEN ARE OFF FIGHTING AGAIN.
Put Women in control of the worlds continents and we will have peace on Earth.
