The sex of a country's leader has nothing to do with how that leader will react in a crisis. Women leaders like Catherine the Great, Queen Victoria, Margaret Thatcher, Golda Meir, and Indira Gandhi were not at all shy about using military force, when needed, to protect their respective countries' national interests.l Smile

You hit the nail right on the head there k027.
Women are "protectors" of "our" interests and do not go on so called "Rape & Pillage" battles.
Queen Vic by the way was a figurehead who just said yeh or neh to the requests of the male government.

jamming, your input, while inaccurate, is still appreciated.
The U.S. govt. supplied and trained certain groups in the middle east. These weapons and ammunitions were and are still availible.

Whatever, I served over "in Kingdom" and Afghanistan during the 80's, was back for Desert Shield and Storm. Yeah, I have no idea what was going on over there. I helped pick up body parts of Marines after October 23rd, 1983. Almost was blown up earlier that year when my boss died at the embassy. So I have no f-ing idea. Pedal your stories to someone who cares.

I care Jammin, along with millions of others who do not want to see needles suffering and death.
Those in the forefront of battle do not alway know what is really going on, they nver get the full global picture.
Vietnam taught that rule No.1 of getting involved in foreign civil wars is famously and simple, Don't. Today you are caught up in a civil war within Islam. You may feel that you have no option but that war is changing and you will now start another battle, shielding moderate muslims from intimidation and violence. The Sunni extremists and the Shiites with the Kurds do not mix. Many lives will be lost keeping them apart.

There is always the chance when you get involved that people will die, does the fireman faced with the chance that the person who needs rescuing may cause his own death, not go into the fire. Some do, but most do not. Doing nothing is a choice as much as doing something, am I my brothers keeper or do I let him die without intervention, not knowing what might happen to myself or others. I choose to get invovled and even though I suffered much and seen others suffer. I cannot stand looking at the fire and try not to put it out.

Good analogy of the Firemen but , they do not start the fires thinking someone may be in need of rescuing.
The ideaology is fine,Prince Charming on a White Charger goes to rescue Damsel in Distress (and then tries to change her lifestyle to his own).
Soon Prince Charming becomes the busybody trying to push his lifestyle onto others by aggression.
Soon Prince Charming becomes the outcast, hated by every one and suddenly finds that no-one will buy his suits of armour, his horse manure fertiliser or his crops.
Prince Charming then starts to die from within, unable to sustain growth.
As the value of his currency diminishes his debts grow ever larger whereby the debt of one state alone(no names here, you should know it) is greater than the debt of the whole of Europe.

Summary
If the Damsal insists she dont want a rescue pack, dont force her to have one. Keep out of the fire, for those who mess with matches get burnt.

The source of my quotes were the Washington Post & The Wall Street Journal.

Europe did so well with staying out of things when Hitler was coming to power, if we error I would believe it is better on the side of acting. It is better to have a damsel upset at you rather than try to resurrect her after dying.

2-SHAY Black Knight your lance penetrates deep, but be aware that there are still many followers of Hitler worldwide who believe in his ideals.
Would the world be in a more sorry state than it is now. Would we be plagued by Illegal Immigrants, crackpot religious fanatics or minority groups inficting their ways on the masses. Would we have drug crazed societies and no-go areas of towns and cities where decent fold dare not walk.
If our leaders could command the following that Hitler had we would be in awe of them too. There is 20% of Cable TV viewing time devoted to Hitlers Rallies, someone must believe there was good in him at one time.
Who knows Question Wink
(must go get a bandage for this wound)
