It's all about survival. We make love, have sex,mate whatever you want to call it to continue the existance of our speicies. As a speicies, we have rose above others like monkeys, lions etc to start to think outside of our "natural" instincts and to broaden our thoughts. This is how the image of "god" was created. to give people a meaning to a life that means nothing, and above all, to keep us under control from rising further up in society and realising, life is somthing that passes so what the hell and lets cause a ruckus.
anyway, what makes you believe that a book can tell you what to do?
in a thousand years whats to say archeologists wont dig up some story, fantasy book and believe that its the law? It's the same with the bible, ok, its a good book and it has a good message, but hey, what proof do you have that it speaks the truth? It COULD be a story book for jewish childeren at the time. Like Charles Dickens, it has a message, but its not the truth.

Nay, not I Boo. I have known some who were not as fortunate, though, and had real problems to work through A couple who didn't make it. One a suicide, one who's mind just wandered off one day and never came back. All for the want of a little love at a vulnerable time in their lives. Yes it kinda pees ya off. Makes you aware of some of the injustice in society. But not the cause of my atheistic leanings which were well developed prior to the nastiness. And despite the doom and gloom timbre of some of my posts I'm not a depressed or sad person, quite the opposite actually, love a good bellylaugh, just like TMOV.
