Two things:
1. It seems all of you assume that everyone uses FA or whatever adds the "Report" option. I bet most MW/MWP users don't.
2. Although the pause feature works fine, to me, it should only be needed to spend "extra" time looking over a screen. Even on a 1800+, it moves too fast to follow the pointer and read the sidebar - it would be more user friendly (and that is the idea, right?) if it moved at a more leasurely rate. |

SH, there's also the Mailwasher - Basic Tutorials forum. But I guess it is kinda overused eh?

Likely to increase.

Actually your cpu speed does not have anything to do with the speed it is moving at...as once it is fully downloaded to your computer (loading icon at beginning)...it will run at the same speed for everyone - the speed I intended it to.
I actually slowed the movements of the mouse down to an almost crawl...but decided to add the pause option in to allow people to read the text fully before continuing.
I believe this option is suitable, however if enough people agree with you, I will redo the tutorial to a slower speed.
cheers

Hey SightHound - It is not the mouse speed that is the problem (actually, problem is the wrong word, we'll go with "quibble") - and really only the first "page" is in question, where Spam Tools and Learning is selected, those screen shots are advanced a bit too fast, covering the previous shot a bit too quickly.
Keep in mind, I think this is a very minor issue about an otherwise most execellent tutorial.

Very helpful tutorial In fact I took a look at it before downloading MWP4 by following the link on Firetrust's download page. |

So how does MWP "learn"? Is it a glorified blacklist or does it use heuristic type criteria to determine what might be spam? Or something else? And yes, I did the tutorial!

Hi a good tutorial but if it could be made to run a little slower and also have sound it would be great.
Thanks for a great product. |

Sometimes I click a learning button to tell MailWasher that this message (which MailWasher thinks is a friend) to SPAM. The result is that the learning button disappears!
(I'm playing with filters to try to get MailWasher to figure out people who use my name and domain as their "from" address) |
