I'm using firefox .8. It's fast and stable, tabbed browsing is cool and there are heaps of skins and plug ins around. It's secure and easy to use. And when .9 comes out it's gonna have a built in setup for removing extensions (as it is now install carefully 'cause the only way to get rid of them is to install fresh and then reinstall, not too bad due to firefox's small size but not much fun). It's very standards complient. And the only thing worth using that i've ever had to use ie on on a regular basis since getting it is the map in space (a webgame) that was coded years ago before flash came out and thus relies on ie specific stuff. There's even an extension available that places a button in the browser to "veiw in ie" so you can just click it and see your page in ie should it only work in that. (woah that was longwinded and incoherent.)
Oh and seeing as this is my first post, I should probably say hello. |

Hi TMOV. The eternal question...
I agree with darthdavid - Firefox, almost for tabbed-browsing alone. Plus quite a few handy extensions that you can customise your install with - 'View this page in IE' is ironically useful since there are some places my Firefox wont go; mostly problems with Javascript I think. JS support is not installed by default (which might even be a feature), but if you need it, it is fiddly to install. However, all that fades away with tabbed-browsing... tremendous...
cheers
