You probably would be just as well off w/ K-Whopper W/Coaster and 40' trailer and then you could haul our web site all over the country........ |

The lil woman and I have been wanting to trade. But our trouble is we can't seem to decide from day to day if we are gonna stay together lol.
Therefore we keep putting this purchase off. We have managed to agree that we want to stay in the 35k or less range. Which kinda eliminates the allison auto option. We can get by with a F-250 4dr fleetside. Guess when the day comes it will just be a matter of whats available to drive off the lot the day we make a commitment to buy lol.
Now if I can just get her to stop looking at the $48,000 Chev DuraMax's ! |

Well inspite of it all we went for the "Red Neck Limo"
and got the Bright Red 2002 Chev Silverado 4dr,DuraMax Diesel and the Allison tranny today. With the leather n all the goodies. Can't think of any options we didn't get.
What prompted the sudden purchase? The lil woman hit some hay bales (15 or so) that had fallen off someones truck in the middle of the highway about 11 last night. N busted the front of the ole (99)<cough> Caravan up a little. Figured it was a good time to trade lmao. Actually we had planned to trade today n this just happened last night making us want to get rid of it all the more. Grr thing had 32,000 miles on it and already 2 trannies in it!
When I get over the sticker shock I hope I like it as well. Sorry Paul its only a HD2500 but with the "E" range tires, 3.73 posi and all that power it really didn't matter! Will pull my old steel 26' gooseneck and 17' tandem just about anywhere. Of course living in MinneSnowta 4 wheel drive is more of a way then a luxury.
Psst, anyone know if the Onstar operators are as hot as they sound?

Four weeks old today and I have about 2400 miles on it. A friend of mine has a new truck too thats a week older and has about 1300 miles on it.
Avg mileage as of 1AM EDT this morning is 17.8 mi/g and steadily rising when most of my driving is on the highway. Typically if I have to do some extended city driving (on the weekends), I'll take my '96 Eddie Bauer Full size Bronco.... I don't like this stop and go stuff in the city.
The diesel is built to drive at 45 miles and over, up to about 70/75 when the RPM's are over 2000. Under 45/50 when accelerating the RPM's can get up to 3000.
I'll be posting some pics up soon too.
