http://www.nytimes.com/2002/05/12/technology/12SLAS.html
This has been an ongoing problem at http://www.nytimes.com/. Every so often while trying to access an article within the NY Times site, the ZXList (default set) is going bananas... I have just attempted to resolve why I am unable to get to the link as noted above, and can not even properly debug...
Cookies are allowed, and I can get to the site, but not to all articles?
Does anyone hava a clue?
The following is the very last log entry which shows the connection timed-out message at the end of the log:

This last week I have been struggling with what might be a related problem. Some pages just stop loading. It is always at the same sites. This one is one of them when using IE. I do not use the ZX-list, although there might very well be common filters. I have unchecked all filters made the last 2 weeks and it makes no difference. The frustrating part is that Opera stops loading at other sites, like webattack.com , but I have settled with this might be a bug in Opera's new beta. I can't find what makes IE stop, and when I close IE and restart it again, all is fine for a while. I did look at the log, but forgot to look closer since I had so many other things to do. I will make a copy of it next time it happens. So we can see if there is anything common.

Well, it can't be the same problem. I had to restart browser now, while posting the above. It got stuck while posting. I could go anywhere else but this forum. I see I have prox in autmatical bypass on this site, so it can't be any filters causing this. |

We just had another issue in regard to Proxo, but I am not convinced that it was proxo at all, but the site... http://pcworld.com/
Check out this thread real quick when you find the time? http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,...at~start=0 We even had gwion in on it, just a bit, and notice the script that I got produced in IE http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,...0#3278492, while using both Scotts, and Zhen's default set[s]. |

I had to give up IE here now. So I started Opera which could not get in either. I got a "Actively trying to establish connection" and it was qued and stuck there (after first IE stopped working here) I unchecked using Proxomitron in Opera and then I came in just fine.
The problem comes if I stay "inactive" for more than a few moments - like when I am writing a reply or a post. When I am finished writing and hit the Submit button, things are dead. My reply goes through, but I am stuck at the posting screen. And I can't get in any more until I restart browser after waiting a while. My ports are saying FIN_WAIT_1 and FIN_WAIT_2 when this happens. Now, not using Proxo, my ports show normal. Lets see when I try to post this. |

Arne CCSP was down for a while, and my best guess is at least twenty minutes tonight in between our posts... Is this what you are referring to? |

No, I don't think so. It has been happening for a few days and always while I am writing a post or otherwise seem "inactive" to the site. |

I went back to Proxo version 4.1 and the problem went away. Later today I will look if it is something in the default.cfg og Proxomitron itself. I can not say now, since the two default.cfg are not identical. Speed also increased a lot. |

Hmmm, Proxo's "web page" filters are not working on that site....
Arne, there's a new Opera beta out, build 1101. Are you using that one?
