Simplified "Title" match and took Guest's suggestion. I've made the URL Match more direct and the Bytes Limit half, from 3000 to 1500.

Code:
[Patterns]
Name = "@nonymouse Cleaner v2 [Kye-U]"
Active = TRUE
URL = "anonymouse.ws/cgi-bin/anon-www.cgi/"
Limit = 1500
Match = "<div id=$AV(mouselayer)[^@][email protected]*</div>$SET(1=<style type=text/css><!--INPUT{background:url(http://);color:#ADADAD; }--></style>"
        "<div id="Layer2" style="position:absolute; left:0px; top:0px; width:300px; height:44px; z-index:1; overflow: visible; border: 1px none #000000;">"
        "<form action="http://anonymouse.ws/cgi-bin/anon-redirect.cgi" method="POST">"
        "  <input type="text" size="36" value="http://" name="what">"
        "</form></div>)"
        "|\[@nonymoused\]</title>$SET(1=</title>)"
Replace = "\1"

IF USING JD5000 CONFIG: Add "anonymouse.ws/cgi-bin/anon-www.cgi/" to "Allow-Redirects"

Very nice Kye-U. I was wondering why you didn't add:
URL = "$TYPE(htm)anonymouse.ws/"

Also, when going to the Google site it defaults to non-english (not sure what language it is, sorry). Any way to fix that?

I don't think so =S

Google only sees the Anonymouse IP, which then redirects you to whatever language the Anonymouse IP is located in.

And I'm very new to writing filters, and thanks for the comment!

Kye-U,

I happened to find a few other anonymous CGI proxies that default to English and are faster on my end. They are:

http://www.pureprivacy.com/
http://cypherpunks.vu/cgiproxy/nph-proxy.pl

Thanks,
DamWill

What is this filter for and what, exactly, does it do?

sosoome: Go here: http://anonymouse.ws/anonwww.html

Type in a website, such as... http://www.msn.com

With this filter, the added advertisement layer will be "automagically" transformed into a small text box that is located at the top left corner of each and every page you browse while cloaked with their anonymizing service.

Also, the annoying (to me anyways) "| [@nonymoused]" in the title bar is removed via this filter as well.

Try pressing CTRL + F5 to refresh, or clear your cache.

This filter still works for me.

Did you click "OK" after you imported the filter? However, it didn't work for me either, when I first tried it. Today it does. Wish I'd saved some code.Confused

Did you test
Code:
<DIV id="mouselayer" style="z-index:1;left:300;top:100px;height:76;width:468px;position:absolute;border:1px solid #000000;background-color:white">
<TABLE width="466" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><TR><TD align="center" style="font-size:12px"><A href="http://@nonymouse.com/" target="_blank">@nonymouse.com</A> - Ad-Partner</TD><TD align="right"><A href="#" onClick="if (document.getElementById) { document.getElementById('mouselayer').style.visibility='hidden'; } else if (document.all) { document.all['mouselayer'].style.visibility='hidden'; } else if (document.layers) { document.layers['mouselayer'].visibility='hide'; };return(false);" style="font-size:12px;font-weight:bold;color:#000000;text-decoration:none;">X</A></TD></TR></TABLE>
<IFRAME src="/ad.html" height="60" width="468" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" border="0" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" target="_parent"></IFRAME>
</DIV>

Kye-U isn't matching "layer2". He is matching
Code:
<div id="mouselayer"*</div>
Then he "sets the variable \1 to the code he wants to add
Code:
$SET(1=<style type=text/css><!--INPUT{background:url(http://);color:#ADADAD; }--></style>
<div id="Layer2" style="position:absolute; left:0px; top:0px; width:300px; height:44px; z-index:1; overflow: visible; border: 1px none #000000;">
<form action="http://anonymouse.ws/cgi-bin/anon-redirect.cgi" method="POST">
  <input type="text" size="36" value="http://" name="what">
</form></div>)

Quote:

Then he uses an "or", the |, so he can add a second function, two two filters in one.Wink
Code:
| ?@nonymoused?*</title>$SET(1=</title>)
Quote:

http://www.proxomitron.info/45/help/Web...lters.html
Kye-U,
The first match looks very broad. Aren't there some
<div id="mouselayer"*</div> that you might want to exclude?
The second match is going to chew some cpu due to the wildcards.
How about
Code:
[Patterns]
Name = "@nonymouse Cleaner"
Active = TRUE
URL = "$TYPE(htm)anonymouse.ws/"
Limit = 3000
Match = "<div id=$AV(mouselayer)[^@][email protected]*</div>$SET(1=<style type=text/css><!--INPUT{background:url(http://);color:#ADADAD; }--></style>"
        "<div id="Layer2" style="position:absolute; left:0px; top:0px; width:300px; height:44px; z-index:1; overflow: visible; border: 1px none #000000;">"
        "<form action="http://anonymouse.ws/cgi-bin/anon-redirect.cgi" method="POST">"
        "  <input type="text" size="36" value="http://" name="what">"
        "</form></div>)"
        "| \[@nonymoused\] </title>$SET(1=</title>)"
Replace = "\1"

Question Smile
This just in:
I like to test these things before I post. These filters when used with K-Meleon don't always work. A reload or two fixes it. I'll have to look at it later.

There is a limit to how much code can be placed in the test window. Are you sure you got it all?
