I have had some problems with my computer since I downloaded trojan hunter and quik fix by pivx. Anyway I was trying to put all of my protection and security files in one folder when I got the message
file C:\Program Files\TrojanHunter 3.8\theupdate.txt not found.
Anyway I now know that I cant run or update trojan hunter but should I completely uninstall it and how? Btw I read an interesting thread about trojanhunter and heuristic scanning. I just wanted to say I am sure it is something I did wrong and not with the program. I am a new user. Thanks for any suggestions. |

You can't just put all of the TrojanHunter files in one folder because the program depends on certain sub-directories being there. I would recommend you reinstall the program to fix this. |

Thank-you. I will definitely re-install it. Do you know of any programs that Trojan Hunter doesn't work well with. I have downloaded so much that now I have a mess. I have had to uninstall Mcafee, Spywareguard, Guard Ie, HJT,& Pivx Quik fix, because everything started missing files that were needed. It took me a lot of research and time to protect my computer and 1 little mistake messed it all up. So back to the drawing board. I know I want to re-install Trojan Hunter so I want to be careful what I install with it. Any thoughts or suggestions are really appreciated. And thanks again |

TrojanHunter should work fine with most other software. There currently aren't any known incompatibilities. |
