Hi,

I'm a newbie who just installed PHPNuke 7.0 (that came with PHPBB 2.0.6) using mysql. I'm getting several problems and I think (hope!) they are related:

1) I cannot add any new faqs from the faq administration page. Whenever I go to that page, I get the following message just above the (empty) list of active faqs:

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/virtual/site45/fst/var/www/html/includes/sql_layer.php on line 286

2) I cannot change user or group post permissions on the phpbb forum admin page. When I try to change a user's moderator status via the user permission control page, I get the following error:

Couldn't update private forum permissions

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax near ' 1)' at line 2

INSERT INTO nuke_bbauth_access (forum_id, group_id, auth_mod) VALUES (1, , 1)

Line : 425
File : /home/virtual/site45/fst/var/www/html/modules/Forums/admin/admin_ug_auth.php

3) Again, on the user permission control page for the forums, I cannot change any of the other permissions (eg-view, read, post) because the table cell (where I presume should be a checkbox or drop-down) is blank!

I downloaded the tarball from the phpnuke site, so I believe that it is correct.

My gut instinct tells me that there is a problem with PHPnuke talking to the database, but I don't have anything to back this up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem (same error codes and everything) with setting permissions on the forums. Same version 7, ive tried setting up a group and using the moderator group by default, and have had the same problem. This was a sudden problem, no direct changes were made to forum prior to this happening, although I was installing modules and playing with nuke setting not related to the forum, so maybe there was a coruption somewhere. I went as far as redoing the whole nuke installation and problem still exsists.

Also showing strange behavior in the memberlist....all new members take on the name of the first member but some fields stay the same such as website and post count i believe.

Mine was slightly difference. I could add new categories to new FAQ. when I click save in admincp, nothing happens. then I click the Faq link in the module, still show like nothing had been created.
The wierd part was, when I test on my home server then it's ok...I tried both 7.2 - 7.1 same result. So I delete everything and installed 6.5, now it's OK.

I'm not sure what's reall different between mine home and host sever but I'm hestitate to upgrade now cause till I find out what's wrong.
