To cooperate with Proxomitron. When I look at proxomitron while web pages are loading I can see the number of connections change but it always goes back to zero. With Opera, Explorer, and now Firefox too no ads are blocked and the connections are all at zero. Why does this happen?

The connections *should* go back down to zero. Open the log - do you see activity when you load a page? If so you're settings are ok - you just need to make sure proxo's not bypassed and you have your banner filters enabled. If it's a specific ad getting through, just add a match for it's hostname to the URL Killfile.
