Hi

Looks pretty clean.....

You have a run key calling for the bridge.dll file which is no longer there....hence your error message.

In order for us to help you without you having to go into the registry...please do this :-

Please Download hijackthis from

http://computercops.biz/zx/phoenix22/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

After the scan has finished the "scan" button will turn into a "save log" button

save the log file and paste it here

Do not delete anything yet, as most things hijackthis finds are harmless and needed.

Hi Kandal_978

You should have started a new thread...but as the post above appears to be resolved.......

Download AdAware 6 <<<<<<click here

Before you scan with AdAware, check for updates of the reference file by using the "webupdate".

Then ........

Make sure the following settings are made and on -------"ON=GREEN"
From main window :Click "Start" then " Activate in-depth scan"

then......

click "Use custom scanning options>Customize" and have these options on: "Scan within archives" ,"Scan active processes","Scan registry", "Deep scan registry" ,"Scan my IE Favorites for banned URL" and "Scan my host-files"

then.........

go to settings(the gear on top of AdAware)>Tweak>Scanning engine and tick "Unload recognized processes during scanning" ...........then........"Cleaning engine" and "Let windows remove files in use at next reboot"

then...... click "proceed" to save your settings.

Now to scan it´s just to click the "Scan" button.

When scan is finished, mark everything for removal and get rid of it. .(Right-click the window and choose"select all" from the drop down menu) then press next and then say yes to the prompt, do you want to remove all these entries.

Then post another hijackthis log

When you post back we'll take out what's left manualy

Or you can take the quick way out and simply go to Start\Run and type in "regedit", do the find option for "bridge.dll" and delete "RunDLL = rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll",Load" from the list of results. I had this problem and it took me 2 minutes to rid my system of it.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
n0c

This belongs to spyware Twisted Evil . A manual removal is a headache, but the easiest way to remove it from your PC is to run the following programs in the same order :

1. Spybot-Search & Destroy
2. Ad-Aware 6

You can download both program for free from www.cnet.com
Make sure you update the database of each program before you run it.

Good luck Very Happy ,

Hi, I'm having a problem with bridge.dll.
It seems I should have a C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Programs\bridge.dll missing file.
I don't know what it is and what to do. I read the previous messages, but as I don"t know how to properly use HJT, i'd wish to get help Very Happy
So I downloaded HJT and ran it. I saved the log stuff and here it is!!!

Thanks for the information in this thread. I used a little intiative and now my computer doesn't come up with a few errors including the bridge.dll error and it seems to run great. Just incase it helps anyone, I have found that regsupreme and jv16 powertools are great assets in solving a lot of problems that I have encountered with my lovely blue screen of death machine.

Cheers for you help.
