Just 1 is all you may have, cant stay long my steed awaits.
Metamorphis is under way.
Tried it earlier in "is there any point" but could not fully emerge from my cocoon.
Ive been rumbled in the Jungle where I thought I could not be found.
Seek and you will find.
Enjoy the the largest drink you can handle as it is,
FLOOR-MORE-DOOR. |

A once met a guy called cavalier
who was partial to whiskey or beer
couldn't stay on his horse
was always falling oorf
due to low hung branches in Delamere

An amusing and prolific Blast
with a rather risque past ,
When offered a drink
kicked up such a stink,
He left cavalier aghast.
Your xxxx awaits you sir.

Well XXXX is in the spelling bee
helps the aussies understand, you see
cause spelling caused them great concern
their failure, of course, to go and learn
but beer being their favorite drink
needed recognition in a blink
so XXXX became the industry norm
helped their drinking
but not their form
So spelling and writing has gone by the by
Ask them to spell and they look at the sky
but offer a drink
and with a wry smile, you'll get
"give us a four X and get one down YOUR dial"

We riders are known to be tough
But find Castlemain dog rough,
For the sake of good freinds
We'll go to no ends,
But refer more salubrious stuff. |

salubrious stuff
man, you are tough
or is it a bluff
this salubrious stuff.
salubrious stuff.
I cant get enough
makes the head kinda rough
drinking salubrious stuff.
salubrious stuff.
my shoes get all scuffed
legs like marshmallow fluff,
ending up in the buff
salubrious stuff.
just off the cuff
I've had far more than enough
now I am stuffed

Hold your horse
Why, of course
but only if you brush 'im
Brush 'im? sweet!
I'm a brushing freak
and I know a good deal when I see one

To brush or not to brush
To leave to bacteria & thrush.
The fervent action of arm
Belies a quaint charm
Quite welcome at the old pull & push.
(or should that be "Old Bull & Bush)
(thrush as in feathered variety)
5.30 am and 6.30pm that's some binge!
Have another on me but remember there are no toilets in Cavaliers era.

Our boot were made high and wide
Just pull the tops to the side,
To many twas beyond belief
To us twas a method of relief,
No need to shut away and hide.
Our boots were not "made to last"
As worn out ones were sold to Blast,
Upon his stall he did sell
Well used boots with unique smell,
Should you barter pair so cheap
Do not mention 'bout the sheep,
For behind Dolly he will stand
Something untoward be planned,
For boots there be dual purpose yet,
Stops getting trousers wet. |

Just as a side note to all this poetic justice....
How long do you wish to carry on with the verse
I am beginning to feel like a wet nurse
all this rhyming and scheming
is causing some dreaming
and I'm not talking bout dollys "shepherd's purse"

Ooooh I have a penchant for Wet Nurses,
Dont come accross too many though.
In fact I dont come accross any.
With an office next door to a major heart transplant unit,
there are thousands of nurses coming and going all day.Very frustrating, you can see now where the dreaming comes in.
Shepherds purse
English nurse
Could do worse
Out of verse.
Drinkies time, bars open, would you like an aperitif before you dine sir?
Auscultation tells me that me stomach is in need of food and drink so a crisp white southern hemisphere wine will just go down well and sharpen the appetite.
Down the hatch, your good health
(not many folk to bounce off the wall with is there )
