As a point of interest, and information - especially to the novice such this oldfella: On my first run of Spybot I found a number of Red thingies, and ordered all "fixed". Apparently with those bad files/entries I removed some modules needed by at least one of my existing program. At the recommendation of one of the good guys here, Mariner, I went back to try to "repair" my damage. Not knowing for sure what I was looking to put back, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the affected program and that did the trick... no more problems.
