that can be about everything , dont know what is needed for this site you want, but you can read the below,
http://www.theschepens.org/adjustingbrowsersettings.htm
http://webct.rpi.edu/web-ct/help/en/stu...tings.html
or get more or less protected with the below http://www.jasons-toolbox.com/BrowserSecurity/ but maybe this type of setting is just blocking you thats also possible, there are so much possibilities for this.

for LAN connections
1. Open Internet Explorer and select the Tools menu. Next, select Internet Options.
2. This will open up your Internet Options window. Then select the Connections tab.
3. Click on the LAN Settings button
4. Make sure you have ticked the box beside Use automatic configuration script
5. Enter the below in Address box......
http://.......... ( your provider can give this info) <-- check this on their website what they want you to use
6. When finished hit OK
All other settings you can check ith your provider if he has a website, the probably have a small exe file to do the above automaticaly where the config also your DNS and some other stuff
other wise you can follow the below :
start
settings
control panel
network and dial-up connections
lan conection ( or something simular) dubble click
click properties
select internet protocol(tcp/ip)
click properties
and in general select Obtain IP address automatically
and in general select Obtain DNS server address automatically
then click the advanced button select DNS and select Append primary and conections specific...... the click OK to all boxes
hope it helps

i have fixed the problem i cotacted my internet provider and they told me to follow these steps and it fixed the problem thanx u for your help and time
a. To clear the Browser Cache simply do the following:
1. Close AOL
2. Click on the Start -> All Programs -> AOL -> System Information
3. From the System Information window click on the Utilities tab and now click on Clear Browser Cache.
4. Close the AOL System Information window
b. To close background programs on Windows XP
Hold down the Control (CTRL and the ALT key together. Now while holding these press once (and once only) the DELETE key. You will now see a screen called Windows Task Manager. Click on the Applications section. Here you will have a list of every application running on your PC. Click on on an application to highlight it and then click on End Task. Task Manager will stay open so you don't need to keep pressing CTRL + ALT + Delete. Once the Applications list is blank close the Windows Task Manager by clicking on the X in the upper right hand corner.
c. Can you please close AOL fully then choose Start - Programs - AOL - System Information - Utilities- then choose Rebuild Adaptors |
