Hi,

I use proxomitron to filter ads and I use mozilla to browse the web. I would like to disable proxomitron's popup blocking filter and use mozillas popup blocking feature instead. How do I go about doing this?

I use the JD 5000 filter.

Go to "edit web filters"...
Type in "pop" in the search field...
You should see the pop-up filters highlighted...
Uncheck those...
Close the "edit web filters" dialog box...
In the "main window" box, click on the 'folder-like' icon to save the config...


Not sure, from memory, how to set up Moz/Fox's poop-blocker, er, I mean pop-up blocker...

You don't need to do that. You can just check the block popup windows box in edit/preferences/privacy/popup windows. Firefox is the same but you do under options. Both browsers override Proxo popup settings if the block popups box is checked.
