I have been using Norton Anti Spam since my 30 day free Mailwasher
evaluation ran out,it is not bad at stopping spam though it is nowhere
near as good as Mailwasher.

It is a very anoying user unfriendly program I have a lot of spam
filters in Anti Spam now,to move a filter from the bottom of the filter
list to the top is close to impossible, with at least a six second delay
between hitting the button and anything happening.I just gave up
when I tried a minute ago I reckon it would take at least ten minutes
to move the filter to the top of the list, and I have 512 mb of memory.

This is really an anoying ill thought out product compared to Mailwasher,
I got it with my NIS 2004 package and I am very glad that I did not buy
it as a seperate program, you can't even copy the filters it seems, though
I am asked if I wanna save the settings before I delete NIS,I dunno if
that includes the filters though. And without clip and paste it should be
great fun to put them all back in by hand again.

A very lot of spam mails have dollar or percentage signs in them, I
wonder why Symantec has ommited these from Anti Spam ? You
cannot use any symbols like .,@#$% in the spam filters, this is just
bloody stupid,I wonder who makes these decisions and why they
have not been beaten up for making them ?

This product gets 7 out of 10 at most for stopping my spam, it gets 4 out
of 10 for user friendlyness and design, and 10 out of 10 for slow working.

The best thing about Anti Spam is its abillity to spot spammers tricks like
putting dots between letters eg, V.i.a.g.r.a. but for the rest I am bleeding
sick of it. Mad Mad Mad Mad
