Im sure many of you have seen this....
http://www.computergripes.com/NortonAnt...#nmain.exe

However, I could not find anything about enabling autoprotect on it.

I have the same problem. Basically, Symantec insists the issue is associated with both Creative Sound Cards and WinXP, causing AutoProtect to disable itself. In your case, you have 2003 - I have 2004 - but the cause could be similiar.

Do you get an error message every time you try to enable AutoProtect through the Symantec Norton Options Control Panel, saying if you want more help, go to their very (not) helpful website? Write down the error number, probably 404,115 or something like that.

Do you run a Creative sound card? Turn all related Creative background programs off using msconfig or related. If you need them later, you can access them through WinExplorer or the Start Menu.

If this does not work, follow the troubleshooting Symantec has offered on their website, which so far has not worked for me. I am looking at a complete reinstallation of the software...

However, I have also heard that running autoprotect in 2004 significantly slows down your ping, and since I game, I may just say to hell with it. Twisted Evil
