Heres an interesting thread, and I'd be grateful if anybody could comment.

Basically a user had trouble with some spyware.
What he did was identify the data file, and fill it with huge amounts of garbage.
Receiving all this data must have caused the spyware server problems, because they complained to his ISP (Comcast). The ISP banned him.
Can they really get away with this? |

thats an interesting one,
would like to know more details about the file he changed
and to be honest i think if he takes it to further legal steps he will not be given any compensation but they will sure tell him he was in his reights.
wonder if we will ever see a follow up of this.
