I am creating a website for my son's soccer team and I would like to have a hit counter on the first page to show how many visitors have come to see the site. Are there any free hit counters that do not have spyware attached to them?

You could try either http://www.devstats.com/ or http://www.bcentral.com/

BCentral do have a free one FastCounter (not the Pro version) but you'll need a BCentral account, and I couldn't figure out how to sign up for one Embarassed
