if you dont bring it up first it just sits in the sys tray at idle.
you hover over it and it doesn't say that it's doing anything ,
then you click on it and you get :
restore,
summary ,
options ,
register,
X exit alt+f4.
click on restore you get the operating window for it and then you minimize to the tray and it's running.

i was hoping one of the firetrust hosts would look at this and say something about it.

Dunno if you'll get a response from Firetrust until Monday....
So initially B9 doesn't let any mail through, is that what you mean? Then after you Restore and subsequently minimize, it now lets mail through?

not exactly,ike.
it is as if the thing is not turned on until you click on it then hit restore and then it opens a little widow telling you that it has a process log and as soon as you click on minimize it moves from where it was in the system tray to the first positon on the left and then when you hover over it, it tells you what it is at that time and tells you "firetrust benign (ready):filtered 6of 23 messages today"

By gar, I do believe you found a bug TMOV! Same thing happens with my system tray icon. (I'm running version 1.40 beta (1.4.0.1). Hamster will be by sometime and will confirm I'm sure.
Good catch! ... and timely, since FireTrust is reportedly working on an upgrade.

Nothing ever happens with B9 TMOV. You need to find out more stuff that's wrong with it so that they might UPGRADE it.
I seem to be the only one that has pointed to some glaring deficiencies. Everyone else gives it the big YAAWWWNNNN.

For sure! I use both B9 and MWP and if you check these forums out, you'll notice that I'm wont to complain about both of them.....

yes,
accurate observations and feedback reporting is what's going to get these upgrades working better.
so far i'm encouraged by the work that is being done.
