Hello, has anyone from Zone Labs, or anywhere else, seen this log before.
The date is 21 April, it was never there before, here it is; XL_CM_Log.txt
I would appreciate some information about it.
Thanks in anticipation.

Where did this file live at? That doesn't look like a ZoneAlarm file.

Hello Hoov, I don't know, it just appeared. Properties just say Windows>> Internet Logs. All the other information is posted. I Googled it but no information there either. Will I just delete it.?

Yes. That isn't any ZoneLabs file I have seen. Then watch to see if it gets recreated.

Right click on it and select properties, see who ownes it and see when it was created. Also watch it and see if it stays at 0 KB.

Hello Hoov, gives absolutely no information. When I click "Summary" on Properties it just reads, "Origin" and "Author" is highlighted. Anything else is covered in above posts.
It does say created 8 May and accessed 9 May.

YOU INFECTED ME!!!!!!!!!!!
I just started getting that file in my folder also. And I just figured it out. Go to the privacy setting in ZAP and then to the bottom box. See the clean tracking cookies? Click the button to clean the cookies. The file will disappear. That file appears to be the way ZA keeps track of tracking cookies (my head spins just saying that) so that they can be cleaned out.

I believe in sharing Hoov, especially with friends.
I searched Help for Privacy and Tracking Cookies but found nothing.
I also went to Preferences in Zone Alarm but still can't find what I'm after.
But I'm still on 3.7.211. which I like quite well, so perhaps that is why I can't find. But if it's something as simple as that it won't be a problem.
It's strange appearing after so long, I think I re-installed 3.7.211 in November, so there ya are.
You put a lot of time into it and I appreciate that.

That's what it is Hoov. Internet Logs has been clean for a couple of days now. I just done the scan and checked the logs and sure enough there was "that" file again. I have the scanner in "Favorites".
Cookie control must be good because I haven't found a tracking cookie yet after a few? weeks. You are some team.
