Hi!

I am regretful I am posting this query again, but that's because I have a feeling that my last post has got lost among other posts without recieving a reply. This shows how much I want a reply to my query. I am posting the query once gain below.

"I tried a port scan at GRC, where my PC passed the test and I got all my ports in stealth mode, this was when I was not using any firewall, and had also disabled Windows XP's firewall. I think in such a case the ports should have been shown either closed or open, but not stealth. With the results, I am pretty confused.

Thereafter, I tried port scan from Computer Cops but that didn't work. Probably because of congestion. However, the results of port scan at GRC have bewidered me, and am not sure whether My PC is protected. It would be very kind of anybody who can give me some advice to clear my doubts."

However, I would like to add that I had reinstalled the operating system before carrying out this scan.

I would appreciate any kind of help on this. If you don't have answer to my query, you may give me reference of some resources on net where I can find answer to this, or else may suggest me if I should post this query at some other forum on Computer Cops, where the chances are better.

Also, I have an innocent query. I see there were 13 views on my post, couldn't exactly understand what it means? Please also help me with that.

Thanks,
