I believe I am attacked by virus, here is the syntopm: Embarassed Embarassed

1. Cannot access ANY web sites and get emails. But can connect to Internet.

2. HOSTS file is being modified, appended with a bunch of anti-virus website domain

3. When I boot the computer, a MS-DOS Prompt or similar screen occurs. It tried to connec to an unknown server called altbiz something. However, it never connects successfully. It will display:

Flushed DNS Cache!
Try to Connect to XXXXXXXXXX:12000...... Connection Failed.

After a while, it will try to connect it again

4. I can close the MS DOS Prompt screen

5. Whenever I tried to open my browser (IE6.0), DNS error occurs.

6. Can't connect to Internet via ICQ. ICQ will only keep on connecting and never success

7. Can't get any email.

What kind of virus am I suffered? How to solve it? Please advise. Embarassed
