I have win98 and IE6, on comcast cable

I don't know what happened but it seemed to start a few days ago after I tried a couple different e-mail spam protection programs (they also had some type of pop up blocker in them) I uninstalled them right away and deleted them off my harddrive... one was 'coffeecup spam blocker and the other was spam alarm'.

Now I can no longer open a url link in my outlook e-mail plus if I try to click on any url like this one here after posting it... http://mysite.com it WILL not open a new window.

I have tried hunting it down with a registry cleaner, spybot, I reinstalled IE6, multiple reboots.... but nothing will allow me pop open windows or a new url open from within an existing webpage. I like to open multiple windows.

Can someone help me? Should I post my hijack log?

Try this:
Start/Run and type this command:
REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL. Ok/Reboot.
