|
|
I have a computer that is connected to a d-link router and then that is plugged into the wall. However, I can't connect to the internet for updates, etc.
in the network properties I have an address....let's say for example:
computer IP: 162.222.0.5
mask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 162.222.0.1 (address of router)
DNS : 162.222.0.5
There is another computer who is connecting with the same type of setup, but is in a different domain.
Also, I found with 2003 server, it won't see another domain like 2000 would. You have to actually join the domain to get to see it.
How can I connect this to the internet so that I can get updates and such? |
