I unistalled za because it was rejecting my new linux wireless router. When I try to re install it, it tells me setup cant shut down true vector service and terminates my install.

Anyone help please? Mad

i don't know about linux..but in windows you can just hit ALT+CTRL+DELETE and end the process from there..see if you can do something similar in Linux..may be try getting a free program that lists all the running processes and ends the ones you want to.You could also delete the entry from registry..or wherever they're stored in Linux that makes them start whenever you start your computer.After you remove that restart your computer and then install it..it should work like that.

I am sorry, I am running XP Pro and my router is a lynksus (spelling) wireless router.

I have tried to end the process in task manager, and I have deleted the registry, nothing seems to stop this thing.

Sorry I didnt clarify earlier.

Go to the run command in windows and type in msconfig and select selective startup, and then uncheck everythign below that, then click apply then OK. Let windows restart itself, then run the installer again and when it asks do a clean install NOT an upgrade. Then run msconfig again and select full startup then apply then OK and let windows reboot.

Then if you have problems with it and the router, lower the internet security slider in ZA to medium and then come here and tell us about the problem.
