I've just reported a post because the user left an email address. I then noticed the post had disappeared, along with any valuable information they may have left. Was I correct in reporting this instance?

The poster was spamming the forums with that same fix over and over despite it not fitting some of the problems... His posts were removed so they wouldn't confuse the person with the problem...

Your report came in as I was clearing them away so thats what happened there. Thanks for the report, it's good to know there are eyes out there!!
