The machine will no longer connect to the internet. There are shortcuts to online casinos on the desktop, there is an annoying and unwanted searchbar.

Trev, she is not saying you will not be answered, however, we get several hundred requests a day for help. We can not track guest posts. By registering (which by the way is free and does not require you to provide any personal information) we are better able to track the hundreds of requests for help that we receive.

I just cleaned this problem from one of my user's PCs....we fought and fought, then I uninstalled something called "Windows Search" from Add/Remove programs....and voila......gone.

Also search the registry for searchexe.com and delete or change the references to something desired.
