Hi,

I am having two problems:
First, when I startup my computer it says c:\windows\system32\bridge.dll will not load. How do I correct this problem?

Also, while my computer is on, I constantly have the hour glass icon next to my mouse pointer. It's as if a program is loading up, but never does. From what I have read in this forum it might have something to do with WToolsA.exe. I have no idea what that is but I do get a message when I shutdown my computer that WToolsA.exe cannot start because I am shutting down. How do I correct these problems?

to easily verify which programs are doing what open the task manager by right clicking the taskbar and click task manager click the processes tab. if you have more than 40 running processes that is in most cases too many. when you have the task manager open click the CPU button twice to get the processes which are using the most CPU will be moved to the top.
then go to
http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html
download and install Hijackthis into it's own folder in C:/program files (Hijackthis will make backups in the folder it is installed into
scan with Hijack but do not fix anything. the scan button will change into a save log button. save the log then repost it

Problem re-cap: bridge.dll won't load, pointer always has hour glass next to it, and while shutting down I get a message saying WToolsA.exe failed to initialize. Here is something new though: now that I am back online with my computer I no longer have a problem with the pointer always being accompanied with the hour glass symbol, but as soon as I disconnect my computer from the internet the problem comes back. Any clue why or how I can permanently fix it?
