I'm trying to authorize the "Trojan TCP Scan" and the "TCP port Scanner" and it sends me to a page that tells me I need to authorize the scan. I'm just going in circles. Can anyone help me out with this?

TY.

Ok... let me try something. The code is set to work only on 'www.computercops.biz' and nothing else. This means 'computercops.biz' won't work. I'm jumping in there now to see if I can modify this.

In the meantime, switch over to the 'www.computercops.biz' domain to have it work.

Your authorization was not supplied.

You must allow referer to work! The key to get this started is the refered URL:

http://www.computercops.biz/modules.php...n_TCP_Scan

Authorize Computer Cops to probe your system via the Trojan TCP Port Scanner from this page.

This is what I got from www.computercops.biz.

Next question then is what are your privacy settings? Are you allowing referers?

Maybe its time I change the way authorization works.

I'm having the same go in circle problems..

When I click on "I authorize" on the following page:
http://www.computercops.biz/modules.php...n_TCP_Scan
I get a message that says:
Your authorization was not supplied.

Okay how to I get referer to work?? Do I change a setting? Honestly, I don't even understand what "referer" means in this context.

Referrer basically means the page you go to next in your browser is aware of where you came from. So long as you pass that data, you'll be golden.

But I see this is an issue here so I have to recode it.

So, very specifically, how do I "pass that data"? Is there a setting I need to change someplace? Nothing works..

It might be in your firewall settings that prevents this data from being passed. What are you using?

I have the same problem. I tried turning of my firewall and it runs fine. I turn it on after the scan starts and it stops the moment i turn the firewall on. I would really like to run this scan without turning off my firewall. As I normaly get infected with a virus or something after about 20 min.
Just can't seem to figure out how to make it work.

I'm using norton internet security

If your privacy settings do not allow for referrer passing, then it won't work. I'm working on a new authentication means.
