Hi Zoehoff,

First, check my reply to your previous post.

Proxo's File menu allows you "merge" fiters into your existing configuration, or you can select and use a completely different configuration. You can also create "New" filters while viewing the "Web page" or "Header" filters. Another approach is to edit proxo's config files & block lists with a text editor. It usually depends on what your trying to do.

ComputerCops has filters you can download & merge, and also complete configuration files you can download.

As for filters, they are writen to deal with a specific issue. Try running with the default filters for a while till you get a "feel" for proxomitron. Experiment with the various filters. You can see whats going on "under the hood" by opening a log window. Using the debug mode will show you what html code is being matched (or not). Also, don't forget to check out proxo's help file.

I recieved this application; Atiupdate5 recently on my desktop. I dont know what it is, but it came with two other applications, Cirshcp and Calsdr. It also came with something else, but im not sure if its an application, i did open it once and it was like The Cupid black box with the binary code, and it was labeled "O" i tried deleting it.. but its still in the computer and i just want to know what it is. These applications have caused alot of problems with loading up my computer. Everytime i turn on my computer, the loading of the shortcuts arent complete, and the whole computer freezes up and sends me a BLUE screen or a black screen, (meaning sometimes it gives me the option to use control Alt Delete to reboot) I have to do this process like 6 times a day, until i found out that i have to End the task of the application atiupdate5 while the computer is loading all the materials on my desktop. Whenever i do that, its fine loading up. But i really want to know what Atiupdate5 is and how it begotten onto my desktop. If you dont know any information on this application or whatever, please recommend me to someone who can! Thanks!

Hi r0mancandlees,

You have spyware installed on your computer, see here: http://computercops.biz/postp113035.html

What you need to do is read the stickys in the Spyware-HijackThis forum, then create a NEW thread there with your HijackThis log. Someone will be along there to help you out with this.
