OS Win XP Home, OE Mail

My system rather suddenly slowed almost to a halt and thru the process of elimination I have determined that it must be b9.

I decided to shut down all programs to do scans and it was almost impossible to shut down b9. I struggled thu AdAware, SpyBot and a virus scan and they all came up empty. When I checked my email with Mail Washer it would get to the point of indicating the number of messages and then would freeze. Numerous reboots didn't help.

So anyway, I completely disabled b9 and reset my email properties and everything is working just fine now.

Any ideas, anyone?
