Yep, sounds like we had the same problem. Here's what I did (actually the Comcast tech walked me through it and it worked).
1) Attach your cable modem directly to your computer (not through the router)
2) Turn off computer and unplug your cable modem so it can reset
3) Plug your modem back in and let it do its startup & bootup your computer
4) Go to "My Computer", "My Network Places", & then "View Network Connections"
5) Double-click "Local Area Connection"
6) On the "General" tab click "Properties"
7) Highlight "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" and then click on "Properties"
Cool Make sure "Obtain an IP Address Automatically" is selected (I always play it safe and write the IP address down selected just in case. If you already deleted it you can go back to it by pressing cancel and then go properties again) then click "OK"
9) Press "OK" again
10) Restart your computer and you should be able to surf the net just like old times!

Oh, and once your sure everything's working fine. Turn off your computer and go ahead and go through your router again. This happens to me about twice a year. What happens is your modem has a certain IP address but so does your router. For some reason it defaults once in awhile to the router's IP address and causes these issues. When that happens repeat the above steps and all should be OK again. I hope this helps! If not try changing the settings first and then reset your modem. Let me know if it worked.

I am also having probs getting ie pages to load off and on. I am on dial up, so maybe it could be my server or something like that? Ill go to sev sites I've visited/loaded w/o any probs then the next time nothing will load, after sev whole comp reboots, it usually starts loading them again.

if you figure it out, let me know...i dont think the above mentioned fix will work for me cause I dont use a router/cable hookup.

Thanks,
Heather

If you use Internet Explorer try clearing you cache:

Go to
TOOLS
Internet Options
Delete Cookies
Delete Files (also check "delete offline content"
Clear History

Then close your browser and reboot your computer. This sometimes might get those web pages to work. Hope this helps.
