Okay here is the deal....... Im doing some surfing and get a message from a "friend" they have a link on their site, I go there. Filling out some info, pop ups start slamming me, then one covers the entire screen.

I have to CTRL ALT DELETE to shut some of the windows down.....

Then come to find they "jacked" my homepage. I reset it to google......

I went thran AdAware Seek and Destroy. Removed said programs only to reboot and the whole thing happen over again......

HELP ME.....!!!!

I have a side bar and a bunch of short cuts on my desk top now.....

My computer is running at a snails pace..........

Hi Pitbull 2k1,

We need a snapshot of your running processes..........but First:

Download : HiJack This!

Create and Unzip to a folder not your Desktop or the Temp folder, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".
Unzip the download (using a piece of software like: Winzip)

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log in a text file, and post it in the CCSP "Spyware - Hijack Related" forum:

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.
