|
|
Hi again,
Although there were over 40 views I have not had one single reply yet.
To add to the subject, once i restart in safe-mode and deactivate the "Start Auto-Protect when windows starts up" option, Win2000 works fine! Then I can activate the auto-protect manually and no problem neither.
There must be something to do with a software driver when windows is loading up. In the autostart folder I only have Microsoft Office + Shortcut bar listed.
If someone could tell me how to find the hidden files loaded at startup which could conflict NAV2003 upon start then i could post it here. Please give me the instructions though (bootlog?)
I dont know if this is the problem though, cause it is only since I updated NAV2002 and on that later version the auto-protect was working OK.
Thanks for any suggestions or solutions....
Ralph
p.s. Maybe the only solution would be to have a batch file activate the auto-protect once windows has started up fully? |
