They keep bombarding me re Spyware - I have actually sent $66 AUD on amex for their software - now I'm having second thoughts because of the accompanying advertisements.

These people (Secure Computing LLC) are not exactly on the up & up. Currently there is a worm traversing the internet that attempts to send you to their website, incorrectly claiming that you are infected with the "Sasser" worm that is actively wreaking havoc on the Internet. They also are selling an application called Popup Padlock, I believe, that they are selling for $40, which does something that you can do on your own computer in about 1 minute for free. Make your own judgement I guess.

Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

get american express to reverse those charges.

and there is a thing in the united states called the fair trade practices act.
which is prosecutable in cases like these.

you should write an articulate complaint to the federal trade commision also.

why don't you just do the thing that the smart people do.
just use the services of reputable websites like computercops and others too and not the bad guys.
i posted a link for the federal trade commission send them your complaint.
use the fair trade practices act as your point of complaint.
they do act on complaints here in this government.
now if you have spyware that you need removed , do yourself a favor and register here and get a uname and then a link will be sent to you to activate your account, you must activate or the account is deleted.
did i fail to mention that registering is free???
then post your complaint in the forum"hijackthis and get help from a first resonder.
and if you do not reister you will find it immpossible to follow your threads as the system has no way of indexing and cataloging your posts or any way to notify you of respones to your posts.
so it is worth your while to register here.
and do your self a favor, please coose a uname that will not make you sound like a circus clown on drugs or alcohol or that is mentally deficient when people see it.
once you have that name registered, froget about changing it.
you just take time to look through the new posts and see the names that [eople give themselves and you should understand.
my user name is TMOV.
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOURS TURNS OUT TO BE, I'LL CONGRATULATE YOU AND WELCOME YOU ABOARD.
and we have a tavern here that all new members go to to buy all the folks there a round of drinks, seeya there.
