Hi everyone, I'm new here. I am running Windows XP Professional, and keep getting a bunch of viruses, although I haven't downloaded anything. Also, a program called Warez keeps getting onto my pc, and I don't know how it's getting there. It says it is a P2P program, but I am the only user on my pc and I know I haven't downloaded it.

Right now I run the virus check from housecall.antivirus.com, I have Sopho (the free version), and SpyBot. I don't have any virus prevention right now.

I am wondering which is the best antivirus program to get? I need one that is updateable, and will stop this stuff from getting onto my pc in the first place. Any help would be greatly appreciated:)

I tried going to http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php
but it said connection was refused, or connection to server was unavailable. Any suggestions from you or anyone else reading this. Thanks

I just tried it - no problems here !

Did you run an on-line scan??

Maybe a virus prevents you from dowloading AVG??
