My password - strange behavior

I just became a new user of these forums (I've posted a help request about a hijacking).

I went to my profile to change my password to something easier for me to remember, and found that I cannot change it. I enter the password that was emailed to me in the "current password" field, and enter the new one twice in the other two fields. When I submit the change, it comes back saying that the current password I entered does not match the password in the database. What gives??

The "current" password that was emailed to me does work, as I logged off and back on, using it.

I am guessing that you may have tried to change your password in your profile in the forums.

If you go here (to your account)
http://computercops.biz/userinfo-PanicPgh.html
and click on the change your info. Then go down the bottom of the page , you will be able to change your password there without any difficulty
