t seems like whenever I do anything, Explorer tries to access the internet.

When I search for a file, Explorer tries to access the internet.

I print a file and Explorer tries to access the internet.
When I delete a file, Windows tries to access the internet.

Why is it that Explorer has to connect to the internet whenever I do something...is Microsoft spying on me?

I'm sure it is not a trojan because I have Norton Anti-virus running 24/7, but why does Explorer always try to access the internet when I do anything?

Is it windows explorer or internet explorer? And what is the IP address is it trying to connect to? Also is your trusted zone security on medium?

This prob was easy for me to deal with if abit weird.
I cantremember correctly but it had something to do with my internet connection. So go into Control panel and internet options then connections then check never dial a connection or always dial default connection. Hopefully this solved your prob. Or the prob may be different to mine

If so, sorry Wink
