Hello,

I have a Yahoo account and it's kept getting hacked by someone. I have just changed the password this morning and some hours later. It is hacked.

Is there any way that I can stop this from happening? I'd really like to keep this account. Besides, other accounts of mine would be attack soon I guess. (I have no idea who this person is. For sure, he's done this just for fun and it really drives me crazy). Can anyone help me please .....

Thanks a lot for your help,

Sincerely,

Tien

Please report these incidents to Yahoo.

Yahoo Supports and Contact

Privately, I would advise that you get a new account and do not keep the password on your computer. Do not allow your browser to remember it, and if you are using Internet Explorer, be sure to delete the contents of your History, Cache, Cookies and index.dat files.

You can try using this freeware app to help you. Index.dat Suite 2.4.7

Best of Luck and Welcome to Computer Cops! Very Happy

I already know there's not much to go on this but after several months
of recieving weird spam with what appear to be blank bottoms until you cursor and highlight the bottoms appears words in no given order.
The links don't even work.
I get about 32 a day at both boxes.

What's odd is why they are recieved intentionally to my box and copied to others that aren't known aquaintinces.(misspelled).

I've spoken to other friends and they mention their aol and yahoo accounts have been hacked because the preferences and setting are switched then they are emailed from Casper ( I call him) with the same crap, passwords to all acounts and informations are taken.

I stopped using zonealarm and switched to Kerio Firewall,
changed Norton to Bitdefender and AVG.

I've reported to a lot places .
Any suggestions?

Virtually
