Very Happy HELLO EVERY1: Very Happy

I am a new user to this website....and I would like to ask the following question..thanks in advance for all your help! Laughing

I recently started do a search in my Internet Explorer...where u type the address of the website u would like to view and have been recently redirected to the SEARCHNAV.COM search engine. This is really frustrating because it take so LONG to search and bring no results...I tried blocking this page in the Internet Options but it stills seems to pop on....is there ANY way to redirect this address button to search with another search engine and remove this SEARCHNAV.com page from appearing? Before i used to have the MSN I believe or a seek2seek, both of which were pretty fast.

I tried running a No-Adware scan but didnt help. Couldn't find the problem. Sad Can someone please help me? THANK U !!! And hope not to have to post again, highly doubtful, wink wink!

Open your search tool by clicking the Search button on the toolbar.
Click Customize.
Click Autosearch settings.
Choose your preferred Autosearch provider. I chose Google Sites.

If that doesn't do the trick you should go to the advanced tab under TOOLS->INTERNET OPTIONS and scroll down to "Search from the Address Bar" and make sure your settings are how you want them. If you are still having a problem, try http://www.google.com/options/defaults.html, scroll to Make Google your default search engine, and download the file for Windows IE.

I am a little bit confused about how to do it with the website u listed...http://www.google.com/options/defaults.html, when i went to download the file it gave me this....

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Use Search Asst"="no"
"Search Page"="http://www.google.com"
"Search Bar"="http://www.google.com/ie_rsearch.html"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL]
""="http://www.google.com/keyword/%s"
"provider"="gogl"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search]
"SearchAssistant"="http://www.google.com/ie_rsearch.html"
