I had NAV 2001 previously installed on my comp. Two days ago I installed NIS 2004. I repeatedly get a message saying "Sndsrvc has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL" Today I got a message saying "Sndsrvc has caused an error in OLE32.DLL How do I fix this?

Confused
I'm getting the same errors with my Norton Internet Security. If you find out an answer let me know. It get's kind of frustrating. My computer is protected from the tests that I have done but unable to block pop up ads and flash ads. These were blocked with NIS 2003.

Sndsrvc
SNDSrvc.exe

(Symantec)
Symantec Network Driver Service which is part of the 2004 version of Norton Personal Firewall and Norton Internet Security. We do not yet know what this task does exactly.

Recommendation :
Although we do not know what this task/service does exactly, we do know it is an essential part of Norton Personal Firewall 2004 and Norton Internet Security 2004, so leave it alone. Note, however, that at the time of writing, 23‑Jan‑2004, this service is known to generate random KERNEL32 errors on some PCs. When this happens, the problems are so frustrating the only solution we have found is to disable the firewall – a less than ideal solution. It is a guarantee Symantec are working on the problem, and that they will solve it, so keep doing regular manual LiveUpdates to pick up the very latest software updates for your Personal Firewall / Internet Security product.

this is the web site i found this on:
