Finally got my wheels!

I can't believe this little puppy is parked in my garage.

After looking for almost 15 years for this car, I finally found one in excellent shape.

It's a '73 450 SL Mercedes. The first owner had it accessorized to make it look like a 560 SL. It was so clean inside and out that I couldn't resist. I know it's old, but so am I and the classics never really lose their beauty. (The car--not me!)

The great thing is that I can work on this car myself. No electronic ignition, no computer chips just the basics.

oddly enough, never been a big Benz fan. I dont know why, they really are beautiful cars, but I have no desire to ever own or drive one. BMWs, wow I think they're such nice cars, but the whole brother automotive car Mercedes just doesnt appeal to me at all.

Matter of fact, I think they're pretty bland with no nice lines, I only said/say they're beautiful cause everyone else around me does Very Happy

I just dont see their beauty at all.
